Military Prior LearningWitsTransfer Credit At theHigherof Southern Nevada, there are several ways in which you may be worldly-wise to use your military wits to finish your stratum sooner than you think.  Use the links unelevated to find out how you can maximize your training and wits as you pursue your stratum at CSN.  Veteran students wanting to transfer credits from a regionally accredited institution of higher education must have an official transcript mailed or hand carried and unopened to the Office of the Registrar.  Students who attended a foreign university or higher must have their credits evaluated by a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES). All credit granted for military training is given based on the American Council on Education (ACE) guide recommendations. Veterans may be eligible for either the Veterans Affairs Workstudy Program or the Financial Aid Workstudy Program. To be eligible for the VA Workstudy Program, you must be enrolled and making a requirement for VA Educational Benefits at the three-quarter-time rate or greater.
